Your data, handled with care

Privacy
Policy

How Sportsland collects, uses and protects your data on the website, in race registrations, in the store and in the Club.

Last updated October 22, 2026.

1. Who we are

Sportsland organizes road races and sporting events in Florianópolis and across Santa Catarina, sells sports products in its store and runs the Sportsland Club. Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018, the LGPD), Sportsland is the controller of the data described here.

2. What data we collect and why

Browsing the website

Without your consent to cookies, we record only what is essential for the website to work and to count visits without identifying you: the page visited, where you came from (including campaign parameters), device type, language and screen size, linked to a session code that exists only while the tab is open and is not a cookie.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which store cookies and identifiers in your browser to measure visits, understand which campaigns work and show Sportsland ads to people interested in running. In that case, we also store a returning-visitor code in your browser.

You can change this choice at any time using the Cookies link in the footer of any page.

Race registrations

Registrations are handled by Ticket Sports, a third-party platform that has its own privacy policy and processes the payment. Sportsland receives the registration data from Ticket Sports, such as name, email, phone number, ID document, date of birth, sex, city, course, team and the answers to the registration questionnaire. We use this data to organize the race (race kit, bib numbers, timing, results and safety), for customer support and for notices about the race you registered for.

We may also send invitations to other Sportsland races, by email, WhatsApp or SMS, to people who have already run with us. Every message of this kind includes a way to opt out.

Store

To sell and deliver products, we collect your name, email, CPF, phone number and shipping address. Payment is processed by Asaas: Sportsland neither receives nor stores your full card number. Shipping is calculated and booked with SuperFrete and Correios, which receive the delivery details.

If you leave products in your bag or a payment pending, we may send you an email reminder, always with a link to stop receiving these reminders.

Sportsland Club

When you sign up for the Club, we collect your name, email, phone number, CPF, date of birth and address. Your password is stored in encrypted, irreversible form: not even the Sportsland team can see it. We use this data to maintain your membership, charge the monthly fee, send the physical card when applicable and validate your Club card with partners, who see only whether the membership is active.

Newsletter

When you subscribe to the newsletter in the site footer, you give us your name, email, the topics you want and, optionally, the distance you run most. We also keep the page where you subscribed, the campaign that brought you to the site and your consent. We use this to send the newsletter on the topics you chose and to see which emails you opened or clicked, which helps us send fewer, better emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Contact

The contact form opens your own email app. We receive only what you choose to send to atendimento@sportslandbr.com and use it to reply.

Race photos and videos

Races are public events and are photographed and filmed. These images may appear in the website gallery, on social media and in Sportsland promotional materials. If you would like an image of you removed, write to our email.

3. Advertising and results measurement

To know whether ads bring in registrations, Sportsland notifies Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through the Conversions API when a registration is paid. The contact data sent in this notice, such as email, phone number, name and city, leaves irreversibly encrypted (hashed), and Meta can only use it to match against accounts it already knows. With it, we measure campaign results and show ads to people with similar profiles.

Sportsland does not sell personal data and does not use your data for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Legal bases

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with those who help us provide the service, and only to the extent necessary:

Some of these services store data outside Brazil. In these cases, we use companies that follow data protection standards compatible with the LGPD.

6. How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected: registration data until the race is over and the results are published, purchase data for the warranty and exchange period, and Club sign-up data for as long as the membership exists. Data the law requires us to keep, such as tax records, is kept for the legal period. Race participation history may be kept for results and rankings, unless you request its deletion.

7. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request at any time:

To exercise any of these rights, write to atendimento@sportslandbr.com. We respond within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may also contact Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

8. How to request deletion of your data

Send an email to atendimento@sportslandbr.com with the subject Exclusão de dados (data deletion), stating the name and the email or CPF used to sign up. We confirm that the request is yours and, within 15 days, delete or anonymize the data, except what the law requires us to keep. This also applies to data linked to our apps and Meta integrations. To delete the website's cookies, use the Cookies link in the footer and clear your browser data.

9. Children and teenagers

Registrations for children, such as for the Corrida Kids, are made by parents or guardians, who provide the data and authorize its processing. We use this data only for participation in the race, always in the child's best interest.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-restricted access to internal systems and encrypted password storage, and we give access to data only to those who need it for their work. No system is completely immune to failure; if an incident occurs that could put you at risk, we will notify you and the ANPD.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
